The North Rotunda is an intimate room largely hidden from view, adjoining the Cowen and Victoria Galleries. The North Rotunda is home to a changing collection of artworks from the Library’s ‘State Collection’ that sit on each wall of the octagonal venue. Previously known as the Red Rotunda due to its bright walls, the room has undergone a recent refurbishment, creating a more contemporary setting that highlights its artwork, parquetry floors and ornate ceiling.
